Can you afford to loose the ability to accept credit cards for payment? If the answer is ‘no’, then you MUST comply with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (DSS).
Under the standard, Level 1 businesses, those that process more than six million credit card transactions per year, are subject to an annual on-site audit by an approved auditor and quarterly network scans performed by an approved vendor. Level 2, 3 or 4 companies that process up to 6 million credit card transactions a year must fill out an annual self-assessment questionnaire and must also have an approved vendor conduct quarterly network scans.
Small businessess do not understand what they must do to comply. At the Compliance and Audit Group, we developed our TurboPCI Division to focus on assisting companies like yours with the PCI DSS compliance. Log onto TurboPCI and discover the easy steps to compliance.
